What is the BCBR Course?

BCBR (Basic Course in Biomedical Research) is a free, online course developed by ICMR and NIE to teach medical students and faculty the basics of research.

It includes 25 video lectures with short MCQ assignments after each. Once you complete all assignments, you become eligible for the proctored final exam.

Is the Final Exam Important?

Yes. You get a lifetime-valid certificate after passing the ₹1000 exam (₹500 for SC/ST/PWD). The exam is held on fixed dates across India. You must complete all assignments to be eligible.
